JANUARY FEBRUARY
THE JEROMES
REACHING THE LOST IN THE FRENCH WEST INDIES

We started the year with 10 people making profession of faith, among them 6 teens.

Many of the brethren walked the aisles, making vows of dedication to the Lord during our Sunday morning evening services. What a good way to start the year!
We also had a baptism service for two of the people that got saved during our summer ministries.
It is also obvious that our people are growing spiritually in the Lord as they want to get involved in the work of the ministry. Even though they still struggling financially. Please continue to pray for them and Pastor Wesly Aladin, my associate pastor who is doing a great work in keeping the church going in my absence.
We had the privilege of reporting to a number of our supporting churches, 3 of them were missions conferences at new churches with 1 promised of support on the spot. I (Kedesh) also took part in a pastor’s training school in Huston Texas along with my Pastor Joe Williams and the Good Shepherd Baptist Missions which was very insightful.
After all the traveling and laboring to raise over 79% of our support, we realize that our faith has increased and our love and burden for the lost has reached to a new level. It is our desire to continue in reaching hundreds of French people who have been influenced by rationalism and materialism.

We are heading back at the end of June. And if you have not already, we hope you will consider partnering together with us to reap the Lord’s harvest of souls in the French West Indies. We glorify God for this fruit of salvation. Your prayers and financial help make it possible for all these precious souls to be reached with the Gospel. We thank you with all Our heart.

Prayer Requests
1. Please pray for our new converts to grow in the faith.
2. Pray for the remaining 21% of our support.
3. Pray for the upcoming summer ministries (VBS).
4. Pray That God would provide the funds (about
$3,000.00) to purchase our tickets so we can get back to
the field.

Report for November

The Lord continues to bless our ministry and family in The French West Indies greater than we deserve. In November our attendance level doubled in our Sunday services as well as midweek services. 5 people made profession of faith. God is doing a mighty work in the heart of the people in the Church. Please pray that the Lord gives us 100 chairs, each cost $35.00 in the Island.
Report for December

In December we were blessed with many visitors. Some we invited while on visitation, others came as our people invited them. We had our annual evangelistic meetings that were a very big success. We only had 6 people saved during that week, yet we rejoice with heaven over those sinners that repent. We ask you to continue to pray with us as we disciple them in the Word of God and that they may grow thereby.
We are having some difficulties in getting the new converts a copy of the Bible. Many of them will come to church with a copy of the ”New World translation of the Bible” which is the Jehovah’s witnesses so called Bible. In the past we were able to give them a free Bible but it’s been over a year now that we can no longer afford to do that which is a tragedy. Please pray that God would provide a way that we can get Bibles in the hands of these new converts.
About our building project, we’ve been engaged in negotiations with land owners and the French government in order to find a piece of land so we can have our own facilities to worship the Lord, train Christian workers and serve the community. Which was not so successful?
The Lord has opened a new door for us. We have offered to purchase a piece of 1000 square meters of land. It will cost us $ 170.000. The bank is asking us for $70.000 down payment before we can take possession of the Land. We are in the process of raising the funds. This is a big project for us in a time of economic struggles but our God is bigger, and with our little efforts and with your help we will surmount this mountain.
Our family is doing fine. We had two new churches who took us on for support over the past 2 months which brings our support level around 75%. Please continue to pray that more churches would consider taking us on as we strive to reach the lost in the French West Indies. We are honored to be your representative in the French West Indies. We are excited about what we can accomplish together.
Yours in Christ’s service

Dear Praying Friends,
We Praise the Lord as he continues to bless the work in The French West Indies. It is a blessing to see our people grow in God’s Word and share their testimonies with others. It is our prayers to be an impact on this region and see people come to know Christ and see their lives change.

For the Month of September
September was a very challenging month for us as the attendance was down . We mentioned in our previ-ous prayer letter that through our summer activities 47 souls came to know the Lord, quite a few of them are attending our church services and discipleship classes regularly.

For the Month of October
Great morning worship services the Lord blessed us with. I am tell-ing you some of these people do not have food to eat so going home from church is not so important we held long hours of prayer time and through it all the Holy Spirit dealt with the hearts of our members and visitors alike. Many stood up to confess and made things right with other members . As a result of all that a whole family of 4 got saved and joined the church that same day. Only the Lord can do these things. Please be much in prayer for the people for most of them are now babes in Christ.

Upcoming Events
We are now focusing on our semi-annual evangelistic crusade that will take place in the first week of December. Our plan is to launch (operation 5,000 project) where our church will mobilize and give away 5,000 copies of John and Ro- mans and at the same time take the opportunity to share the Gospel message with those that are lost

Our Family
We had the opportunity to present our ministry in 3 churches this past month and 1 of them took us on so far, we seek to raise the 35% we have lost in the past 2 years because of the economy. We ask you to please pray that God gives us more new churches or that our present supporting churches will increase our support for the minis- try in the French West Indies needs us that is where our heart is. There is still so much to do and many are still lost.

Prayer Requests

Continue praying for land for church building.

Our church got broken into and valuable items for the church was stolen.

Prayer for strength and encourage-ment and that we will not be weary in well doing.

Dear Prayer Partners,

It is always a blessing to communicate with you and keep you up to date with what is happening in our lives and in our ministry.

Souls Saved

Our Church continues to grow. We had 6 souls saved during the month of June. It was also encouraging to see many visitors attending our services. Summer is always the busiest time in our ministry and this year was even busier. We had a team of (12) of the most caring and loving people from Chattanooga TN came down for our annual Vacation Bible School and Ladies conference. The Lord was in the presence of it all. That week was dynamic; we average 100 kids the first 4 days and by Friday it all exploded; standing room only. I gave an Altar call on two different days and a total of 47 children and young people made professions of faith. Praise the Lord!!!

We closed out our VBS week with a youth night. Again we had a full house. Many teenagers rededicated their lives to the Lord. During our Ladies conference, we did not have any souls saved, but many rededicated their lives to Christ. We praise the Lord for what he is doing in the hearts of the people in the French West Indies.

Missions Churches

In an attempt to fulfill or objective in reaching the whole island with the Gospel of Christ, we have established two preaching points, some called them missions churches, headed by 2 men who attends our Bible institute. In the first Sunday morning service it was exciting to see 70 people in attendance under a little tent in one of the mission churches. With all the economic uncertainties in the world, people still need the Lord. We are thankful to all of you, for your gracious and faithful support. We deeply appreciate every one of you. Words do not express how much your giving has touched lives. May the Lord continue to bless you and supply all of your needs by His riches in Christ Jesus.

Prayer Request

Continue to pray for our construction project as we are facing some problem with the land

Pray for the new converts

Would you also please pray for our financial support?

We have seen a shortage of 35% in support for each month.

Serving the Lord With Gladness,

For PDF version click here:Jerome Family Prayer Letter: March-April 2011

Dear prayer partners,
Your faithful prayers and financial giving
enable us to reach thousands and bring
many into the kingdom of God. We
want to thank you for letting us be your representatives. Without your involve- ment, it would be impossible for us to
preach the gospel and plant churches in the French West.

In March:
We had the privilege to visit a few of our
supporting churches and two new
churches as we try to get our financial
support back up to a reasonable level. In the main time the work continue to grow spiritually in the French islands although Satan is busy throwing his fiery darts. One young man made profession of faith and is looking forward for water baptism.

In April:
The month of April was a very busy
month for us as far as the church is con-
cerned and since we also had to renew our Visas in order for us to continue to minister in the French territories; which
usually is a nightmare for us, But the Lord went before us and the official were kind towards us this time.
We had Pastor Glenn Gilley from Grace Baptist Church of Brunswick Ohio, visit-
ing with us. We were privileged to have
him preached 3 nights of special services. He was a real encouragement and bless- ing to our people.
When we started our outreach ministries
in the French side of St. Martin in 2008,
we wanted to have a broadcasting pro- gram on radio and On TV so we can
reach more people and the surrounding islands in the region. But the price tag was too high for us.

On this past Easter Sunday I was in- vited to go on a TV station to preach
on the resurrection of Christ. After
the program was over, people all over the island were calling; they wanted to know where the church was and they
wanted to know more about Christ and the Bible.

The best part is that the station man- ager offer us a full hour every Sunday afternoon to proclaim the gospel. The price, $100.00 a month.

Please pray for:

Our building project faces some huddles with the government on a zoning situation.

Our annual Vacation Bible School this year and for the Team coming from Chattanooga TN to help us with that and other ministries.

The Lord has given us a church bus. Now we need to get in St. Martin. We need $2,970.00 USD by the end of June to ship it down.

That God would lead us to right churches as we seek to raise our
support to an acceptable level.
We rely heavily on your prayers.

Stacey and I appreciate how you make
our ministry possible. We could not do this without you! Thanks.
Kedesh & Stacey Jerome
